Headlining this spectacular event is comic, actor, presenter, and master impressionist Rory Bremner (Bremner Bird & Fortune, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Spitting Image, Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week).
Joining Rory is a stellar supporting line‑up: Stephen Bailey (Live at the Apollo, Comic Relief, Would I Lie to You?, Celebrity MasterChef), Finlay Christie (Winner of So You Think You’re Funny? 2019), and Samira Banks (Winner of So You Think You’re Funny? 2023).
Since 1984, Rory Bremner has been performing on the London stand-up circuit and at his native Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In a TV career of over 30 years, he’s won numerous awards, including 3 BAFTAs for his long-running Channel 4 satire series Bremner Bird & Fortune. As a mimic, he’s provided definitive impersonations of PMs and Presidents from Major to Mandela, Blair to Brown, Clinton to Cameron and Bush to Trump. As himself, he’s been a presenter, writer, quiz-show host, actor and translator! Rory has been a guest on beloved comedy TV shows such as Whose Line is it Anyway, Spitting Image, Have I Got News for You, and Mock the Week (where he was team captain for two series).
Stephen Bailey is an award-winning comedian, actor, presenter and writer. Known for being a proud northern, working class, gay man, his brand of gossipy humour has singled him out as one of the UK’s most sought-after talents for comedy and entertainment formats. Stephen has appeared on a vast array of comedy TV shows including Live At The Apollo, Comic Relief, Would I Lie To You, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Celebrity Mastermind to name but a few!
At 19, Finlay Christie became one of the youngest ever winners of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition. He is a viral sensation and internet superstar with nearly 1,000,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. His material is based a round his gilded upbringing and privileged experience as a Gen Z; always self-depricating with good grace. He has appeared on Live At The Apollo, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Bake Off Extra Slice.
Samira Banks is an exciting new comedic talent of middle eastern heritage. She has been making waves on the UK circuit since bursting on to the scene winning the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? in 2023. Samira has appeared at the BBC Comedy Festival, the Kilkenny Comedy Festival and Latitude Festival. She will also be appearing on BBC Asian Network’s One More Laugh this year. Her razor sharp wit paired with her unique perspective are sure to make her a household name.
