It’s the first day back at Greenwood Secondary, and students are sharing all they got up to over half term: trips to the seaside, days at the arcade, even going viral on TikTok! But everything changes when one student arrives with a real-life, working TIME MACHINE.

Transporting the class into a mysterious future full of monsters and heroes, the students find themselves stranded thousands of years from home. And the only way back is to stand up for what they truly believe in.

Based on H.G. Wells’ genre-defining novel, The Time Machine is a thrilling new play about friendship, responsibility, and the power young people have to shape the future.
