It's the summer of 1929 and the Walker family have made the long journey to the beautiful sights of the Lake District. For Mother, that means rest and relaxation. For her children, it means adventure! Based on Arthur Ransome's charming and cherished novel, Swallows and Amazons follows the fun-filled frolics of the crew of the good ship Swallow, and the pirate Amazons. With war on the horizon and ownership of Wildcat Island at stake, our sea-faring pioneers will need to pull out all the stops for victory, and rally together to defeat a common enemy.
