The Dance Project Festival is where Kingston School of Art’s final-year dancers’ step into the spotlight. This capstone showcase work across live stage, screens, and site-responsive environments, revealing the bold artistic voices of a new generation of choreographers, performers, and interdisciplinary makers.
Expect a dynamic programme of independent works: visceral theatre pieces and striking screendance, and spatially adventurous performances that transform how dance is seen and experienced. Each project emerges from months of rigorous research, technical experimentation, and critical inquiry, resulting in performances that are daring, precise, and unmistakably contemporary.
This festival is a professional launchpad. Students present work at full production scale, articulating distinctive creative identities while demonstrating advanced skills in dramaturgy, collaboration, digital practice, and audience engagement. The programme speaks directly to urgent cultural questions and evolving artistic forms, offering audiences the chance to witness ideas in motion at the moment they break into the public realm.
Join us for an exhilarating celebration of emerging artists pushing boundaries, taking risks, and claiming space within today’s cultural landscape.
