Ever since its publication over two centuries ago, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein has captivated readers. As science advances, it is a story that becomes ever more relevant. Frankenstein is a warning from the past about the perils of the future.

In this bold new adaptation, acclaimed writer and director Jeff James (Persuasion, Shooting Hedda Gabler) brings Shelley’s visionary novel into the 21st Century. It’s a story that challenges us to consider whether we now live in the future that Mary Shelley foresaw, or whether those horrors are still yet to come.
