A musician with versatility of style and interpretation, Mia has extensive
experience performing both as a soloist and a part of ensembles, and is especially interested in composing and learning repertoire that transcends the boundaries of genre.
With over ten years of experience performing on stage to both formal and informal audiences, ranging from charity concerts to competitive music festivals such as Blackheath and Kingston. Mia’s notable successes include winning Wandsworth Young Musician of the Year 2022, playing Rachmaninoff and Margaret Bonds on solo piano.
Mia is an avid explorer of classical music by composers of the African diaspora, particularly works of African-American women of the early 20th century, including Florence Price and Margaret Bonds.
