Melissa Mowry is a US based director. She holds her Master of Fine Art in Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York City.
Theatre credits include: Dracula, a feminist revenge fantasy, really (Virginia Stage Company); How to Bruise Gracefully (Cadence Theatre); Skeleton Crew (Summit Performance Indianapolis); The Hot Wing King (Denver Center for Performing Arts); and Moksham (Kattaikkuttu Sangam, India).
Awards/Honors: Rose Directing Fellow, The Drama League, 2025; Lights Out Nat King Cole, Observership Fellow, Stage Director and Choreographer Foundation, 2018; Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Fellow, The New Group, 2018; and Stage Director and Choreographer Union Associate Member.
