Kit Young

Kit Young is best known for playing “Jesper” in Eric Heisserer’s hit television drama, Shadow and Bone, based on Leigh Bardugo's popular Grishaverse novels. Produced by 21 Laps, the series premiered to incredible ratings and became one of Netflix’s most watched shows.

This year Kit stars in ALIEN:Earth, a TV series for FX. His film credits include Netflix’s The Beautiful Game, a sports drama based on the story of the real Homeless World Cup,  produced by Colin Farrell, which also starred Bill Nighy; horror thriller Out of the Darkness - for which Kit won Best Actor at the 2024 BAFTA Scotland Awards; and in 2022 he co-starred as the villain, “Rafal,” in Paul Feig's Netflix feature The School for Good and Evil, which also starred Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington.

Having attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, his other theatre credits include starring roles in All's Well That Ends Well (The Globe 2024); Macbeth (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, 2018); The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (Donmar Warehouse, 2018) and two plays for Nicholas Hytner at The Bridge - Julius Caesar (2018) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2019).
