Production Technician

The Production Technicians are a key part of the Production and Technical team, responsible for delivering all productions on the ground. They shall use their skills and experience to ensure that the technical needs for each production are met.

The position asks you to multi-task across Stage, Lighting and Sound departments, with the opportunity to concentrate on your preferred discipline on Original Productions and visiting shows.

In addition to maintenance, show prep and duties, you will be responsible for running events and hires, including managing events on the ground.

WaH and Rescue training is provided.

Get outs are paid at TMA rates (excepting theatre hires) in addition to salaried rate.

Casual Technicians

We're looking for new Casual Technicians to join us at the Rose for our upcoming programme of original productions, touring shows, live music, comedians and community events. We are looking for skilled Technicians to work alongside our in-house team. Professional experience and working knowledge of technical skills are desirable.

- Your preference between Stage, Light and Sound.

- Your preferred email address for being notified of shifts.

- Any preferences in your availability e.g. “I work Mon-Fri so would only be available evenings/weekends”

- Do you require a permit to work in the UK?

We are able to offer TMA on get-outs, and get-outs are first refusal to those crew who did the get-in for that show. It is PAYE and £11.80 p/h. We are also able to offer National Insurance contributions and holiday accrual for casual techs. Sundays and Bank Holidays are double pay and any work after 8 hours becomes time and a half.
