We are offering an exciting, inclusive and intensive performance-based course. You will spend a wonderful week working with a group of like-minded young actors and our team of fantastic professional directors. Groups are split by age, and each group will work with their director to create a scripted production to be watched by family at the end of the week.
During the course you will have the chance to meet new people, take on challenging direction, gain experience and learn new skills. Please find below a list of the exciting titles we are offering this summer!

WEEK 1: MON 27th JULY - SAT 1st AUGUST*
Robin Hood | Adapted by Nicole Burley
Age 11-13
The infamous legend of a man who stole from the rich and gave to the poor is reborn in this new and exciting adaptation.
*Please note that due to graduations taking place at the Rose this year, the rehearsals for this week's course (Mon - Fri) will take place offsite at one of our trusted local external venues: St John's Warehouse, Hampton Wick. The performance will take place at the Rose Theatre in our Studio space, as usual.

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson | Adapted by Ciaran McConville
Age 11-16
Stevenson’s classic pirate adventure is told through haunting shanties, the clatter of muskets, and the cry of Silver’s parrot: “Pieces of Eight!”

A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
Ages 11-16
Shakespeare’s most famous summertime comedy, full of magic, mechanicals and mistaken identity!
WEEK 4: MON 17th AUGUST - SAT 22nd AUGUST
Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving | Adapted by Josh Mathieson
Ages 14-18
All Hallows Eve, 1790. The quiet village of Sleepy Hollow is unusually abuzz. As darkness falls and ghost stories abound, Ichabod quickly realises that he may not be as welcome as he first thought.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen | Adapted by Ciara Morris
Ages 11-13/14-18
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife." Austen's classic regency rom-com, adapted in a playful version for young actors.
