SPACES

Rose Theatre Kingston has three main spaces and the cafe available for hire. Contact the Hires and Events team for more details about all of our spaces.

Main Auditorium

Inspired by the Elizabethan Rose Theatre on London’s Bankside, where many of Shakespeare’s plays were first seen. The Rose’s stunning auditorium has a capacity of up to 758 people and is a stunning space for any large scale event.

The Gallery

The Gallery is a light and airy space on the second floor of the venue suitable for meetings, presentations, receptions and corporate events.

The Rose Cafe

The Rose Cafe is a bright and stylish space on the ground floor. By day, the Cafe offers a fine selection of homemade cakes, paninis and a selection of teas and coffee. A range of quality wines, sprits and bottled beers can be served for afternoon and evening events.

The David Jacobs Room

A spacious open-plan bar area on our second floor overlooking the town.  Ideal for business and networking events

Circle Bar

A smaller bar space on our first floor suitable for smaller meetings and workshops.

 
CATERING

The Rose Cafe has a great range of food and drink that is perfect for any sized party.

A delicious range of toasted sandwiches, paninis and light bites are available throughout the day and early evening. We also have homemade cakes, flapjacks, brownies, Fair-trade chocolate bars, biscuits, nuts and crisps. The drink menu includes a wide range of alcoholic beverages including bottled beers, ciders, spirits and wines, as well as teas, coffees and soft drinks.

Bespoke catering can be arranged for your particular needs, ranging from continental breakfasts through to buffet lunches and champagne receptions. We maintain lists of preferred caterers who have proven themselves able in the past to supply food up to the standard we would expect. When you’re making your booking simply explain your requirements and we’ll find a caterer that will suit your needs. 

 
LOCATION

Rose Theatre Kingston located in the centre of Kingston and only 30 minutes by train from Waterloo.
