Join Christopher Haydon, Artistic Director at the Rose, as he sits down in conversation with star of Gavin and Stacy, Alison Steadman for a very special evening to raise money for the Rose Theatre

One of the UK's most prolific actresses, Alison Steadman OBE received the 1991 National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actress for the Mike Leigh film Life Is Sweet and the 1993 Olivier Award for Best Actress for her role as Mari in the original production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. No stranger to the Rose, Alison starred in A Rose Original Production of Here, by Michael Frayn and Directed by Lisa Spurling back in 2012.

An intimate conversation, Alison will share anecdotes from her astonishing career and there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions following a short interval.

Premium tickets for this event include a post-show drinks reception with Alison Steadman.

The Rose is a registered charity (registered as Kingston Theatre Trust, Charity no. 1000182) and ticket sales cover less than two thirds of our costs; we rely on donations from our loyal supporters to continue the great work we do. Proceeds from this fundraising event will support the Rose to deliver first-class productions, develop learning and cultural opportunities, and build a vibrant cultural heart for our community.
