OPENING HOURS
The Rose Café's regular opening hours are from 10am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and during performances.
Our dedicated entrace is in Wadbrook St when the theatre front doors are closed.
We're laptop friendly! Come on in and work from the Rose and ask about our unlimited coffee offer.

PRE-ORDERING FOR SHOWS
Planning to attend a show at the Rose? Avoid the queues by pre-ordering your pre show or interval drinks and ice creams. You'll receive a text message a few hours prior to the performance—just click the link to pre-order your drinks and snacks.
Please ensure that we have the correct phone number and email address on file so you can receive our pre-show communications. You can check your account here.
FOOD
The Rose Bar & Café offers a variety of food options for the perfect quick bite pre show or a relaxed lunch.
Enjoy a selection of food made to order including freshly toasted farmhouse sandwiches, crispy falafel and tasty add-ons available anytime, up to 30 minutes before a performance.
Indulge anytime in a delightful selection of sweet treats, including flapjacks and brownies.
At busy times you can always find more seating upstairs.
Order pre-show food
Rose Theatre has partnered with Honest Burgers to offer pre-show food during select events, delivered straight to your table in our café.
QR codes are available on tables in the café before the performance. Scan to view the menu, enter your table number, and place your order.
Ordering is available from 17:30–18:45.
*Subject to availability. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please be mindful of your performance start time when ordering, as food cannot be taken into the auditorium or stored for later. Drinks can be ordered from our bar as usual. As this is an exciting new partnership, we appreciate your patience.
DRINKS
Enjoy the finest coffee in Kingston at the Rose Café.
We also offer a range of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, including premium spirits and carefully selected wines.
Beers include Peroni, Brewdog Punk IPA plus locally brewed Park Brewery IPA and our very special 'This is Our Town' Park Brewery Lager, clean and delicate the perfect easy drinking beer.
Not forgetting, our range of flavoured milk or juice cartons for the little ones.
FREE Community Events & Performance
Keep an eye on our Whats On page for more info on free lunchtime performances and activities. We have regular lunchtime music and the next Board Game Day is Saturday 20th June 2026 from 11am.
