What Would Happen If Everything Fell Silent?

  • Arthur Cotterell Theatre Main House
  • Mon 9 Jul, 5.30pm
  • Presented by Empty Vessels Dance Company

A triple bill of pieces: What would happen if everything fell silent?, Uncertainty and That one time when everything changed. All three are based around the idea of restlessness, and the chaos and disorder that affects your mind and body when you feel restless.

The company thought deeply about the feelings of exhaustion, weakness, displacement and uncertainty to inform the movement and structure of the three pieces. They also explore the idea of taking chances and risk as well as reconnecting with oneself through a state of the unknown.

Empty Vessels Dance Company is under the direction of 19 year old choreographer and artistic director, Freya Harris. It is formed of first year students currently studying contemporary dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
