Genevieve Namazzi
Double Bass
Bassist, Genevieve Namazzi, is a multi-instrumentalist from South London. After recently obtaining a First-Class Music BA at Southampton University in 2024 alongside being awarded the ‘Thomas Seltz’ and ‘Hazel Muras-Osborn’ Awards, she has begun a promising career after moving back to London.
During her studies in Southampton, Genevieve balanced bass playing with her career as a violist where she performed in large venues such as: The Royal Albert Hall; London Stadium; Amsterdam Concertgebouw (Medici TV); BBC Radio Solent; and Berlin Konzerthaus. This includes performances with Robbie Williams (ITV); Clean Bandit; Chineke! Orchestra; and DON BROCO.
Genevieve has also enjoyed performing in productions of: Fame; Rock of Ages; Beauty and the Beast; Suessical; Legally Blonde; The Addams Family; and My Fair Lady across the UK.
