As lockdown measures are eased and we begin to cautiously and strategically reopen our venue, the safety of those who visit and work inside our building is our highest priority. As such, we have implemented necessary measures that comply with all COVID-19 safety guidelines set out by the government.
As of Monday 14 September, the government implemented a restriction on social gatherings, reducing them from thirty to six. This change does not affect performances at the Rose Theatre as we are a COVID-19 secure venue.
We are following the safety and hygiene measures for businesses set out by the government in its performing arts guidance. Alongside this, tickets are only available in fixed groups, where 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or a maximum of 6 tickets are seated together; each group must only consist of one household or support bubble; each group is distanced by 1m+ from the other groups.

Keep your distance
Please adhere to the 1m+ floor markings when queuing inside or outside the venue.
We have installed multiple hand sanitiser stations in our venue. Please ensure you and all members of your party wash or sanitise your hands regularly, particularly on entering and exiting the theatre
Face coverings & Gloves
Please ensure that you wear a face covering at all times whilst inside the Rose. Our staff will also be wearing face coverings and, in some instances, gloves. This is to limit as much contact as possible and is nothing to be concerned by. As per guidance issued by the government, we do not require children under the age of 11 to wear face coverings whilst inside the venue.
We would encourage you to use contactless payments where possible.
Please be patient
Please be patient and bear with us if our staff take longer than usual to assist with your enquiry.
Please be aware of and adhere to the signage placed around our building to ensure your safety.
Stay home if experiencing symptoms
For the safety of our staff and other patrons, if you believe you have experienced symptoms of the virus 2 weeks ahead of visiting the Rose please stay at home and contact our Box Office team to discuss your options.
We will strive to ensure maximum flexibility by allowing you to exchange your ticket up to 24 hours prior to the performance so if anyone in your party feels ill, there is no need to worry.

We appreciate that this will be a different experience from your usual visits to the Rose, but we hope to ensure it will be just as memorable and enjoyable.
